Linking these two excessively contemporary artists, Willem Speerstra is hereby offering much more than a simple collaboration, namely the deliciously and touchingly harmonious concretization of two unclassifiable destinies.
This series of paintings expresses very loudly the complicity that noone would seek to deny, proof of an instinctive, spontaneous, frank and unbridled communication. The joining of their two names also highlights a fascinating triad born several years ago between JonOne, L’Atlas and Willem Speerstra. Willem's first exhibition in Paris in 1992 was dedicated to JonOne, his first artist; and L’Atlas has just inaugurated his latest exhibition in April 2017 in Willem Speerstra's Swiss gallery, dedicated to post-graffiti.
