History is not written, it reinvents itself unceasingly at the turn of wars and victories. Domination is the builder of the empires that have forged humanity. For this new exhibition at the Speerstra Gallery in Switzerland, the artist Pablo Sozyone Gonzalez presents the exhibition "The Empire" and is inspired by this experience, both universal and specific to each culture. Like an impression of déjà vu, empires succeeded one another, in an eternal cycle that will make tomorrow the reincarnation of previous adventures. It is with a rich palette of techniques that the Spanish artist tells us of these conquests. Forms with radiant colors intertwine and take on the appearance of animals embodying the reign of different empires. Impressively slick paint finishes reflect all light in volume. Reinforced with touches of cold colors, men are distinguished in a camouflage of pigments, testifying to the contemporary reign of the secret government. Suddenly life disappears. The composition is strict and the imposing architecture of the city is the last vertigo of these civilizations castaways.
