"We need to make everyone around us more aware. The planet belongs to everyone, and it doesn't take much to improve the situation. Art is an excellent way of spreading the message. Now we have to stop talking and take action!".
Urban art will be in the spotlight on Quai Antoine 1er, June 25, 26 and 27, for the third edition of UPAW. Ten artists from seven countries will be showcasing their talents and performing live. Among the artists present, two are particularly well known and appreciated by locals: Belli and Mr One Teas. The principle of the festival is simple: these artists will create a work of art on walls, with the help of ecological spray paint cans. Alberto Colman, founder of the event, wanted to combine art and the environment. This year's theme is "Endangered Animals". It's a highly topical subject, and one that he believes requires collective awareness: "We need to make everyone around us more aware. The planet belongs to everyone, and it doesn't take much to improve the situation. Art is an excellent way of spreading the message. Now we have to stop talking and take action!".
